1. Booking and Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking.
  • Full payment must be completed at least 15 days before the departure date.
  • Bookings made within 15 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted methods.
  • Confirmation of the booking will be provided upon receipt of payment.

 

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before departure: 100% refund (excluding the deposit).
  • Cancellations made between 15 to 29 days before the trek departure date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the trek departure date or no-shows will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
  • In the rare event that we need to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions or other factors beyond our control, participants will be given the option to reschedule or alternative trip or receive a full refund.
  • Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 15 business days from the date of cancellation. Please note that the refund amount may be subject to transaction fees or currency conversion charges.

 

3. Postponement:

  • Participants are allowed to postpone their trek to a later date, subject to availability, without incurring any additional charges if the request is made at least 15 days before the original departure date.

 

4. Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and evacuation expenses. This insurance can help mitigate potential financial losses due to unexpected situations.
  • The company is not responsible for any losses due to insufficient insurance coverage.

 

5. Health and Fitness Requirements

  • Trekkers must be in good health and physically fit for the chosen trek.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform the company of any pre-existing medical conditions.
  • The company reserves the right to deny participation if a trekker is deemed unfit.

 

6. Risks and Liabilities

  • Trekking involves inherent risks such as altitude sickness, weather changes, and natural disasters.
  • The company will take necessary precautions, but clients undertake the trek at their own risk.
  • The company is not liable for injury, illness, or property loss during the trek.

 

7. Itinerary Changes and Delays

  • The company reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any additional costs due to delays, such as accommodation or meals, must be covered by the client.

 

8. Code of Conduct

  • Clients must respect local customs, cultures, and the environment.
  • The company has the right to remove any client from the trek for misconduct without a refund.
  • Follow “Leave No Trace” principles; minimize plastic use.
  • Hire local guides/porters, pay fair wages, and support community projects.

 

9. Permits and Documentation

  • The company will assist in obtaining necessary permits for trekking.
  • Clients must provide valid identification and necessary documents before the trek.

 

10. Equipment and Gear

  • Clients are responsible for bringing appropriate trekking gear.
  • Rental options may be available for certain equipment.

 

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes will be settled through mutual negotiation. If unresolved, they will be handled under the jurisdiction of Nepalese law.
