Bardiya National Park | Nepal’s Untamed Wilderness
Overview
Originally established in 1976 as the Royal Karnali Wildlife Reserve, Bardiya transformed into a full-fledged national park in 1988. What started as a hunting ground was reimagined as a sanctuary to protect Nepal’s endangered flora and fauna. Over time, it has grown into one of the most vital protected areas in the Terai region, playing a critical role in the preservation of the Royal Bengal Tiger and One-Horned Rhinoceros.
Why Choose This Bardia National Park Itinerary?
- Wildlife Focus: Highest chance of spotting Bengal tigers and one-horned rhinos.
- Sustainable Travel: Supports local communities and conservation projects.
