Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
- Activities: Airport pickup, hotel check-in, trek preparation, welcome dinner.
Day 2: Kathmandu Cultural Tour
- Activities: Visit UNESCO sites (Boudhanath, Swayambhunath); trek briefing.
- Key Sights: Buddhist stupas, Newari architecture.
Day 3: Drive to Koto (2,600m)
- Activities: 8–9-hour scenic drive via Besisahar; follow the Marshyangdi River.
- Key Sights: Terraced farms, waterfalls.
- Key Sights: Starting point for Nar-Phu Valley Trek.
Day 4: Trek to Meta (3,560m)
- Distance: 18 km (7-8 hours)
- Activities: Enter the restricted Nar-Phu Valley and ascend through pine forests.
- Elevation Gain: +960m
Day 5: Meta to Phu Village (4,080m)
- Distance: 15 km (6-7 hours)
- Activities: Traverse narrow gorges; first views of Phu’s medieval fortress.
- Key Sights: Tashi Lakhang Monastery, traditional stone houses.
Day 6: Acclimatization in Phu
- Activities: Explore Phu Monastery, hike to Himlung Himal base camp viewpoint (4,800m).
- Key Sights: Tibetan Buddhist culture in Phu Valley.
Day 7: Phu to Nar Village (4,110m)
- Distance: 12 km (6-7 hours)
- Activities: Cross high-altitude plateaus; interact with yak herders.
Day 8: Acclimatization in Nar
- Activities: Visit Nar Phedi Monastery, hike to Kang La Pass viewpoint.
Day 9: Cross Kang La Pass (5,306m) to Ngawal (3,660m)
- Distance: 14 km (8-10 hours)
- Activities: Pre-dawn climb over Kang La; descend to the Annapurna Circuit trail.
- Key Challenge: Steep ascent/descent; panoramic views of Annapurna II and Gangapurna.
Day 10: Ngawal to Manang (3,540m)
- Distance: 10 km (4-5 hours)
- Activities: Gentle walk-through apple orchards; explore Manang’s cafes.
Day 11: Drive to Besisahar (760m)
- Activities: 8–9-hour drive via Thorong La route; farewell to the mountains.
Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu
- Activities: 6–7-hour drive through Trishuli Valley; farewell dinner.

- All accommodation and meals in Kathmandu, before and after the journey
- Extra night accommodations and meals in Kathmandu due to early arrival, late departure, or early return from the trek.
- Personal expenses - shopping, snacks, hot (tea, coffee) and cold drinks, bar bills, bottle or boiled water, shower, Wi-Fi, laundry, telephone call, battery recharge costs, extra porters, etc.
- Personal clothing and gear
- Travel insurance that has to cover emergency high-altitude rescue and evacuation compulsory
- Additional costs or delays are caused by circumstances beyond our control, like landslides, bad weather conditions, itinerary modification due to safety concerns, illness, change of government policy, strikes, mass movements, etc.
